I am starting a new quilting project for donation. I think I have someone in mind, but if not for the person I am thinking then just to donate to a local hospital or shelter. If you’ve been reading any of my posts, then you know that I am faithfully trying to find some way to give. I have prayed and prayed and prayed about it and have found that this is something that I can do. As we learn through our faith, we are encouraged to give…..give to the sick, give to the needy, and give to the elderly. I pray that this will bring a measure of cheer, a beautiful smile, or an ounce of strength to a young child that is hurting, lonely, or scared.
Keep in mind, this is only the beginning. I have already cut most of the pieces (still have some cutting to do). Shown picture of the right above, I have put together a row of three. I will be adding 3-5 more rows. As I said, it’s going to be for a child, so I’m making only a crib/toddler size quilt.
