Beatitudes #5

I am sorry that I am late, but

Here we are, already on #5 of the Beatitudes.

Where has the time gone?

Without further ado, Beatitudes # 5

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

When one shows mercy and forgiveness to others, God will do the same. If we are not merciful and forgiving to the faults of those around us as well as to the ones who step on our toes, so to speak, how can we expect that God will be merciful or forgiving to us as God does teach love of others at all times?

It’s not our job to hold others accountable for their actions. Through prayer and quiet conversation with God, He will give us the strength to bear our crosses such as the faults of others or the hurt caused by others. The light we see at the end of the tunnel is Him.

I hope you all have a blessed week.
